Born and raised in Chicago, I found my way to Vermont after a journey that took me from the East Coast to the Pacific Northwest. Along the way, I completed my undergraduate and graduate studies in New York City, earning my Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from the Wurzweiler School of Social Work and my Certification in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C) from Postpartum Support International.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with individuals and families in a variety of mental health settings, including community mental health, adolescent medicine clinics, and outpatient psychiatry. I have honed my skills through trainings in various therapeutic modalities such as CBT, ACT, and mindfulness-based therapy, as well as specialized programs like SPACE training through the Yale Child Study Center, as well as parent management training programs to support behavioral parent coaching.
One of my guiding lights in my practice is the work of Viktor Frankl, whose insights into human resilience and meaning have deeply influenced my approach to therapy. I work with people to explore their values, beliefs, and goals to gain a deeper understanding of themselves and their place in the world. By helping people discover their inner strengths and potential for growth, I empower them to confront existential concerns and embrace life with courage and resilience. Through meaningful conversations, I support people in their journey towards authentic relationships and well-being, ultimately guiding them towards hope, resilience, and fulfillment in the face of adversity.
I look forward to the opportunity to be part of your journey and support you in your own path towards healing and growth.
